Silicone
resins are siloxane polymers characterised by there three dimensional structure.
They may undergo further polycondensation reactions and cross linking to become
either flexible or rigid films which are able to withstand decomposition at
high temperatures for long periods.
Silicone
resins are often categorised by the organic groups that are attached to the
polysiloxane chain, these organic “radicals” give the resin particular
properties and the resins are usually defined as: Methyl, Phenyl Methyl, Vinyl
or Modified.
PennWhite Ltd are able to offer a range of Silicone Resins which can be used in a wide variety of applications.
