Econolube 200 is a water based preparation based on silicone wax plus polymers. It is easily applied and exhibits excellent coverage.
It is non-toxic, non-flammable and has no physical or chemical effects on cable sheath or sub-duct. It can be used on cable blowing or pushing.

The maximum length that can be blown in any situation is proportional to the coefficient of friction. If the coefficient of friction can be reduced by a factor of three the length of installation will go up by three.
Lubricant is critical in optimized air blowing. Good factory lubrication on the duct interior is helpful; but the most consistent results come from the field addition of lubricants. Generally speaking blowing lubricants are used in relatively small quantities (0.1/0.5 litres per Km).
The duct must be clean and dry without air leaks at duct splices. Lubricant is continuously injected in front of the missile for piston-type blowing machines. For high speed air (no missile), the correct amount of lubricant is blown in first.
The amount of lubricant used will vary depending on the type of duct (pre-lubricated or not), diameter and geometry of the network i.e. more bends = more lubricant.
Econolube can be cleaned up with Lubaklenz and large amounts of water.
Penn-Lube Lubricants are non-toxic and non-hazardous to the environment. These products are very slippery. Avoid walking on spills. Cover spills with absorbent material and clean up with water.
