Silicone Emulsions are used as release agents to prevent moulded parts sticking to the mould or charring. The emulsions achieve clean contours and allow for close tolerances. The moulded part has a slightly shiny finish, which reduces subsequent scratches. No decomposition products are produced from silicone due to it’s thermal stability. Typical applications include foundry release, tyre remould, food packaging and industrial hose manufacture.
(Current products include: Silicone Emulsion 642-35, Silicone Emulsion 642-60, Silicone Emulsion EPHV-A).
